Zero Waste Project

AT695 Apparel Pattern Development 2. Zero Waste Team Project. Mac Larkin and Libbi Jessen. The purpose of this project was to create two outfits using zero waste patterning methods.  The two methods we utilized were the Multiple Cloth Approach (MCA) and Jigsaw approach.  The MCA is the best way to make a seamless collection with two or more fabrics.  The Jigsaw approach is when all the pattern pieces touch each other and don't allow for extra space.  The two fabrics used was a medium weight, navy patterned fabric and a raw silk fabric.  May 2019.
