Guatemala

Industry tour to Guatemala.  We learned about the Guatemalan textile market and fair trade; worked with native women to learn how to weave fabric without machinery; toured a factory; hiked a volcano and zip lined in a rainforest; and participated in native rituals, dress in traditional outfits.  We spent most of our time in Antigua and Panajachel and the surrounding areas.  January 2018.
